Got a nice post today in the guestbook on the old website from a guy called Paul:
"I spent two years in Brighton as part of my OE from NZ. Visiting many of its amazing pubs in my spare time was a great hobby. Gotta say a book like this does great justice to them. Some of my favs were the Lion and Lobster, Mash Tun, Open House, Enginee"
Looks like either the guestbook character limit cut him off or he accidentally clicked OK. I'd guess the last one was going to be Engineer, but no telling what else he likes....Paul?
A website tracking my attempt to publish my own book, "Brighton's Best Pubs". This is a locally produced guide to every pubs and bar in Brighton, the book is a comprehensive guide covering an amazing 300 pubs and bars within the city, utilising a unique pub rating system. Atmosphere, Beer, Barstaff, Food, Entertainment, Decor/Garden and Talent are all rated for each pub/bar. It also features maps, a Club guide and suggested pub crawls.

Stomach suitably lined, and with a keenness which would have put one of Alan Sugar's Apprentices to shame, I set off to visit the supposed best five pubs in the city. The Dragon, in St George's Road, Kemp Town, is, according to the book, Brighton's fifth best pub.
